Goseong County, Gyeongnam Province conducted an actual dispersal drill for administrative agencies on the first day of the Ulji Exercise, with around 40 essential personnel from 19 departments participating on the 19th.
This dispersal drill was carried out under the scenario that the main government building's key facilities become unusable due to enemy shelling. Participants in this drill promptly moved to the main dispersal facility with important documents and administrative equipment according to the training plan at 2 p.m. They checked and inspected all matters related to the dispersal and relocation of the administrative agency, establishing emergency preparedness and assessing the possibility of normalizing administrative functions through the actual drill.
County Governor Lee Sanggeun stated, "This Ulji Exercise dispersal drill for administrative agencies is a wartime crisis management training to strengthen our ability to swiftly relocate important documents and other materials to the main dispersal facility, ensuring that administrative functions can be maintained even in wartime." He added, "Through not only the dispersal drill but also the four-day Ulji Exercise, we will establish thorough preparedness to protect the precious lives and property of our residents."
