The Gyeonggi-do Women and Family Foundation donated 105 blood donation certificates to the Korea Childhood Cancer Foundation.
On the 19th, the foundation announced that it delivered 105 blood donation certificates voluntarily donated by its executives and staff to the Korea Childhood Cancer Foundation through the Gyeonggi Volunteer Center to support children with cancer.
The foundation has consistently encouraged its executives and staff to participate in blood donations via blood donation buses visiting public institutions every year, contributing to alleviating the local community's blood supply shortage. Through this donation of blood donation certificates to the Childhood Cancer Foundation, it also participated in economic support by reducing transfusion costs.
The foundation explained that the blood donation certificate campaign is meaningful in realizing the value of coexistence with the local community by fulfilling social responsibility and contributing to a stable blood supply during seasons of decreased donations, such as vacation periods.
Kim Hye-sun, CEO of the Gyeonggi-do Women and Family Foundation, stated, "I hope the voluntary blood donation certificate donation campaign by our executives and staff will not only contribute to the local community but also become a helping hand for children with cancer."
