Global Business Expansion
Key Talent Recruitment to Enhance Platform Capabilities
E-commerce marketing platform company Storelink announced on the 19th that it has secured 20 billion KRW in Series C funding. Led by Shinhan Venture Investment, this round included participation from existing investors SJ Investment Partners, Partners Investment, and Hana Ventures, as well as new investors Korea Development Bank, CJ Investment, and Evergreen Investment Partners.
This funding round was based on Storelink’s stable revenue structure linked to its services, technological capabilities, and global business. Shinhan Venture Investment stated that it decided to invest considering Storelink’s growth potential alongside its profitability. The investment will be utilized in various areas to expand global influence and maximize service capabilities.
Following its entry into Japan, Storelink plans to strengthen its localization strategy by investing resources and personnel into its global business ahead of its U.S. market entry. The company also intends to sequentially expand its business to other countries including Europe, Australia, India, and Southeast Asia to further solidify its revenue structure.
Storelink is accelerating efforts to secure new business models. To strengthen its position in the domestic market, it will maintain consulting services for enterprise-level clients such as Ottogi, E-Land, and LG Household & Health Care, while expanding sales efforts to attract large-scale corporate clients. At the same time, it plans to segment its business for small and medium-sized enterprises to further enhance its functionality as an all-in-one e-commerce platform.
Jung Yong-eun, CEO of Storelink, said, “Despite the recent downturn in startup investments and challenging economic conditions, Storelink’s efforts to penetrate overseas markets and enhance its all-in-one marketing platform capabilities based on domestic and international e-commerce have been recognized. With this funding, we have secured the momentum to accelerate global growth and focus on providing innovative solutions. We will solidify strategies to achieve future growth scenarios and secure even more meaningful results.”
