Gyeonggi-do to Hold Children's Speech Experience Event Starting September Children's Speech Experience Event

Gyeonggi Province is resuming horse experience events for children.

On the 19th, Gyeonggi Province announced that applications for the children's horse experience, which were fully booked within 20 minutes of opening, will be accepted on a first-come, first-served basis starting at 9 a.m. on the 26th of this month through the 'Gyeonggi Shared Service (https://share.gg.go.kr)' website.

Since its pilot operation began in 2018, the children's horse experience program has received great enthusiasm from children. In the first half of this year, it was conducted as a visiting program, directly visiting 24 daycare centers in 10 cities and counties.

The horse experience events for the second half of the year will be held from September to November at the Gyeonggi Livestock Promotion Center located in Namsa-eup, Cheoin-gu, Yongin-si, Gyeonggi Province.

Daycare centers that participated in the first half are limited in their participation opportunities. The experience is available for up to 40 children aged 5 and older.

Nam Young-hee, director of the Gyeonggi Livestock Promotion Center, said, "Since the horse experience in the second half will use the facilities within the Gyeonggi Livestock Promotion Center, participants can enjoy a safer and more diverse experience," adding, "We will continue to develop livestock projects that involve residents, including children."
