A foreign national in his 40s died from a heat-related illness in Yesan, Chungnam. This is the third such case in Chungnam.

According to Chungnam Province on the 18th, a foreign national in his 40s who was sorting potatoes in Yesan, Chungnam, showed symptoms of heat-related illness around 4 p.m. on the 13th and was transported to a hospital. At the time, Mr. A's body temperature exceeded 40 degrees Celsius.

Mr. A was taken to the hospital for treatment but ultimately died around 4 a.m. that day.

So far, there have been 175 cases of heat-related illness in the Chungnam region, with the number of deaths rising to three.
