At around 4 p.m. on the 17th, a fire broke out at a factory in Sinchang-myeon, Asan, Chungnam, and firefighters are currently working to extinguish it.

So far, there have been no reported casualties.

The Asan city government sent out an emergency alert, informing residents that a fire had occurred at a factory near Sujang-ri, close to the Environmental Science Park, and urged nearby residents to keep their windows closed and avoid approaching the area around the fire.
