Partial Heavy Rain Advisory in Jeonnam... Up to 38mm per Hour

Localized heavy showers poured down, prompting a heavy rain advisory in some areas of Jeonnam.

The Gwangju Regional Meteorological Administration issued a heavy rain advisory at 2:50 PM on the 17th for four locations in Jeonnam: Jangheung, Gangjin, Yeongam, and Naju.

The accumulated rainfall so far in the areas under the heavy rain advisory is 41.5 mm in Yuchi, Jangheung; 21 mm in Gangjin; 6 mm in Sijong, Yeongam; and 2 mm in Naju.

Jangheung experienced a maximum downpour of 38 mm per hour all at once, and Gangjin also recorded an hourly rainfall of 21 mm.
