Dongdaemun-gu, Abuse Prevention Training for Senior Officials Grade 5 and Above on the 14th
District Mayor Ilhyung Lee Emphasizes Leadership of Communication and Empathy as a 30-Year Public Service Veteran

Dongdaemun-gu (District Mayor Lee Pil-hyung) conducted a prevention education session on power harassment on the morning of the 14th, attended by over 60 senior officials at grade 5 and above, to eradicate power harassment within the organization and foster a healthy organizational culture.

The training was organized to raise awareness among high-ranking public officials about power harassment and to establish a culture of integrity within the organization through leadership that emphasizes communication and empathy.

Lee Pil-hyung, Mayor of Dongdaemun-gu, who served as the instructor, shared cases and practical measures from the Public Officials' Code of Conduct under the theme "Integrity Stories from a 30-Year Public Service Veteran," encouraging public officials to voluntarily prevent power harassment and maintain integrity by using budgets transparently.

Participants in the training said, "It was an opportunity to once again reflect on the importance of communication in work," and "This lecture will greatly help improve the qualifications of public officials and enhance the organizational culture."

Mayor Lee Pil-hyung stated, "I hope you lead the organization as leaders of the institution with a sense of mission and pride," and added, "Please strive to root a strong sense of integrity within the organization and strengthen communication and cooperation."
