A comic book that is said to have predicted the timing of the great earthquake in Japan has become a hot topic among netizens.

The book The Future I Saw is a comic created by author Tatsuki Ryo, based on a story he saw in a dream while traveling in India.

The cover of the book features the phrase "Great Disaster of March 2011" written in Japanese. In reality, the Great East Japan Earthquake, the largest ever recorded in Japan's seismic observation history, occurred on March 11, 2011. Since then, the comic book gained fame, with secondhand trading prices approaching 1 million won.

In 2021, the author republished a complete edition of The Future I Saw, drawing attention by mentioning a new great earthquake. He said, "I have been having the same dream repeatedly recently," adding, "This time, I can clearly see the date. The day the disaster will occur is July 2025."

He continued, "I am looking down at the Earth from the sky. If I explain it as feeling like viewing the Earth on Google Earth, you might understand," and described, "Suddenly, an underwater volcano in the middle of the Philippines erupted. As a result, large waves spread out in all directions from the sea surface, causing tsunamis in countries around the Pacific."

He also said, "The height of the tsunami was a gigantic wave three times that of the 2011 earthquake," and "Because of this impact, Taiwan, Hong Kong, and the Philippines appeared as if they were connected as one."

Meanwhile, in Japan, earthquakes with magnitudes of 5 to 6 occurred over three days from the 8th to the 10th. Some are concerned about the 'Nankai Trough Great Earthquake,' which is known to occur every 100 years.
