On the 16th, at The Heaven Country Club (Par 72, 6,680 yards) in Ansan, Gyeonggi Province, during the first round of the Korean Ladies Professional Golf Association (KLPGA) Tour The Heaven Masters (total prize money 1 billion KRW), she shot a 6-under-par 66, entering the race for the championship. Above all, her clean performance stood out with six birdies and no bogeys. She gained a comparative advantage over her playing partners Park Hyun-kyung (4-under-par 68) and Yoon Ina (1-under-par 71).

Right after the round, Lee Ye-won said, "No matter who I play with, I play my own game, so it doesn't change depending on my playing partners. Both of them are very skilled players, so I think the player in good condition that day plays well. Therefore, I tried to bring out my best condition today, and it worked well."

After the Jeju Samdasoo Masters, Lee Ye-won refined her disrupted swing. She explained, "My tee shots were not terrible, but they often gradually went off course, and my iron shots did not produce the desired trajectory, so I couldn't create many birdie opportunities. Honestly, today was not perfect either. There were mistakes, but the range of mistakes was reduced, so I did not lose strokes." She added, "Going forward, I will focus most on tee shot accuracy in practice," emphasizing, "Honestly, as long as I keep the fairway, big mistakes don't happen."
