Yongin City Provides Special Guarantee and Tax Audit Deferral Benefits to 10 Outstanding SMEs

On the 16th, Yongin City announced that it will recruit 10 local SMEs to receive the "2024 Yongin City Excellent Enterprise Certification" by the 30th of this month. This system is implemented as a measure to encourage SMEs that have contributed to revitalizing the local economy through outstanding management activities, in accordance with the "Ordinance on the Promotion and Support of Small and Medium Enterprises."

Selected excellent enterprises will receive benefits for three years, including ▲ preferential support for SME special guarantees and interest subsidy ▲ additional points for various support projects ▲ 50% reduction in parking fees at Yongin City public parking lots ▲ a three-year deferral of local tax audits.

Eligible applicants are SMEs that have operated their headquarters or factories in Yongin City for more than two years as of the announcement date (the 13th). Interested companies can apply through the "Yongin City Enterprise Support System." Detailed information, including required documents, can be found on the city's website under the notice board or by contacting the Enterprise Support Division.

The city will evaluate the applying companies based on management performance, technology and quality control, employee welfare, and contribution to the local community through document review and on-site inspections, then select 10 companies to receive certification plaques in November.

A city official stated, "This system is a policy to boost the morale of companies striving to revitalize the local economy despite worsening domestic and international business environments," adding, "We will continue to make efforts to establish practical support policies for SMEs, which are the foundation of the local economy."
