On the 15th, the Seongdong Police Station in Seoul announced that Lee Kang-in's side had filed a complaint the previous day against an executive and a representative of marketing agency A for defamation by spreading false information and obstruction of business.

According to the police, agency A publicly claimed that "Lee Kang-in offered 500,000 won as compensation for work and did not return sponsored goods." Lee Kang-in's side has filed both a criminal complaint and a civil lawsuit for damages against agency A.

In the complaint, Lee Kang-in's side stated, "Since March of last year, agency A has claimed itself to be 'Lee Kang-in's domestic agency,'" and "spread false information such as 'Lee Kang-in offered 500,000 won as compensation for the work performed.'"

Lee Kang-in's side maintains that the 500,000 won was an amount proposed when requesting settlement in July of last year, one year ago.

Additionally, in January of this year, they offered agency A 50 million won as compensation for work. The complaint also states that they have never contracted advertisements or delegated advertising agent authority through agency A.

Meanwhile, agency A filed a criminal complaint for defamation and a civil lawsuit for damages against Lee Kang-in's side in June.
