Geochang County Hosts Challenge! Integrity Golden Bell Quiz Contest for Public Officials

Geochang County in Gyeongnam announced on the 14th that it held the "Challenge! Integrity Golden Bell" quiz competition for public officials in the county office's main conference room, with about 150 employees participating, to foster anti-corruption and integrity awareness.


This event was hosted by Kim Jehun, an expert instructor from the Anti-Corruption Training Center of the Anti-Corruption and Civil Rights Commission. The quiz covered anti-corruption laws such as the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act, the Code of Conduct for Public Officials, values of integrity, and Geochang County's integrity initiatives.

The "Challenge! Integrity Golden Bell" quiz competition was held in two rounds, using a cumulative score system and a survival format, so that employees could learn about integrity in an enjoyable way and participate actively. Representatives from each department competed fiercely, answering multiple-choice and subjective questions for a chance to ring the Golden Bell.


After intense competition, Lee Junghwe from the Administration Department rang the Integrity Golden Bell, while Choi Sumin from the Environment Department and Jeongboyeon from Jusang-myeon took second place. The Waterworks Office was selected as the best cheering department.


Lee Junghwe stated, "While preparing for the Integrity Golden Bell, I was able to learn anti-corruption laws that are often overlooked, and it was a meaningful time to approach integrity in a pleasant way with my colleagues through the quiz."


County Governor Koo Inmo said, "This event seems to have achieved a dual effect of raising employees' integrity awareness and helping them learn about regulations related to integrity," adding, "We will continue to communicate and unite to create a culture of integrity in public service."
