Samsung Card announced on the 14th that it has launched an 'eco-friendly card package' made from reused discarded paper.
The eco-friendly card package is part of a resource circulation project and utilizes not only general waste paper but also paper materials such as product brochures and terms and conditions. This package will be first applied to Samsung Card's representative premium product, THE iD. PLATINUM.
The eco-friendly card package is characterized by being made of 100% paper without adhesives, printing, or coating. Through structural design, it was made so that items like cards can be securely stored without the use of adhesives. Additionally, embossing was used to create a three-dimensional effect on the text by applying pressure to the paper, replacing printing and coating processes.
A Samsung Card official stated, "We plan to gradually expand the application of the eco-friendly card package in the future."
