Dong-Eui Institute of Technology Holds Workshop for Academic Administration Competency Enhancement for Teaching Assistants

Dong-eui Institute of Technology (President Kim Youngdo) held a workshop on August 7 for department and practical assistants working at the frontlines of university administration, ahead of the new semester starting in September.

The Academic Management Competency Enhancement Workshop at Dong-Eui Institute of Technology held on the 7th.

This workshop was organized to strengthen job competency in academic administration and to enhance mutual communication. It was attended by Kim Daekyung, Dean of Academic Affairs, and about 50 department assistants.

The academic administration competency enhancement workshop proceeded in the following order: ▲Greeting from the Dean of Academic Affairs ▲Department-specific major tasks and work procedures ▲Academic Affairs Department's class and student record management ▲Assistant roundtable meeting.

Jung Subin, the president of the assistants and an assistant from the Department of Physical Therapy who participated in the workshop, said, "Through the workshops held every semester, I was able to hear explanations about each department's tasks, which has been very helpful for my work," and added, "I hope there will be more opportunities for communication in the future."

Kim Daekyung, Dean of Academic Affairs, stated, "Thanks to the assistants who support classes and guide students, academic administration is operating smoothly," and added, "I hope you will continue to think more deeply about the role of assistants and devote much attention and effort to it."
