Comprehensive Overview of 13 Support Programs Related to Home Repairs
Yongin City in Gyeonggi Province announced on the 14th that it has created and released a guidebook that allows people to easily check home repair support projects currently being implemented by the government or local governments.
The guidebook was created to address the issue of increasing demand for home repair support projects while the executing agencies are scattered. The home repair support project guidebook produced by the city gathers information on support projects hidden across various public institutions in one place.
The guidebook contains an overview of 13 support projects, eligibility criteria, application methods, and details of the support provided. It also provides guidance on inspection methods by field for managing and improving the functions of aging buildings, related organizations, and repair methods according to the building's life cycle.
The guidebook can be accessed on the Yongin City website under Sector Information → Urban → Housing/Architecture → Information Plaza. To apply for support projects, applicants should check eligibility and application periods in advance and submit their applications to the relevant department.
A city official stated, "The guidebook was created and released to enhance building safety and prevent citizens with low information accessibility from missing out on appropriate support," adding, "We will strive to practice administration that citizens can feel and to improve convenience and work efficiency."
