Jo Woo-hyun, CEO of Busan-based local company Daesun Distilling, participated in a challenge urging the relocation of KDB Industrial Bank to Busan.
This challenge began on the suggestion of National Assembly member Park Soo-young on the 3rd of last month, to call for the passage of the Korea Development Bank Act amendment. The challenge is conducted in a relay format, where each participant nominates the next after completing the challenge. CEO Jo joined upon being nominated by Yeom Soon-won, Chairman of Eunkyung Medical Foundation.
Jo Woo-hyun stated, "The relocation of KDB Industrial Bank to Busan will be a key driving force for the economic growth of the southeastern region and for balanced national development," and added, "I urge the swift passage of the Korea Development Bank Act amendment, which will create new future industries for Busan and mark a new beginning to break away from the Seoul metropolitan area's dominance."
CEO Jo nominated Park Jae-young, Executive Director of Daeryuk Metal, Kim Ki-deok, Vice President of Samhan General Construction, and Kim Do-hwan, CEO of Grand Moment, to continue the challenge.
