Gyeonggi Province plans to establish 3,000 "Mamdaero A+ (A+·AI play) Playgrounds" equipped with digital convergence play care content such as artificial intelligence (AI) and augmented reality (AR) by 2026.
On the 14th, Gyeonggi Province announced that it will hold a briefing session on the "Mamdaero A+ Playground" project on the 16th at Dasan Hall on the first floor of the Gyeonggi Provincial Government Office to share these details.
The "Mamdaero A+ Playground" is a new type of play care space that combines digital content and traditional play, supporting up to 400 million KRW per site tailored to the characteristics of the Alpha generation (born after 2010).
It is a customized playground where children can choose their favorite content, maximizing the choice of users?parents and children. For example, it offers experiences such as AI-based robots, AR-based sports games, and VR water safety experiences.
Based on demand surveys from cities and counties, Gyeonggi Province plans to install playgrounds by utilizing ▲ idle facilities of public institutions and small libraries ▲ facilities requiring activation such as childcare sharing centers, community care centers, local children's centers, and I Sarang playgrounds ▲ and private rental spaces available for contracts of 10 years or more.
To this end, Gyeonggi Province is accepting participation applications from cities and counties until the 23rd. Fifteen sites will be promoted as pilot projects this year, with 997 sites in 2025 and 1,988 sites in 2026, totaling 3,000 sites.
