Gwangjin-gu, Operation of Visiting Village Tax Advisors

Gwangjin-gu (District Mayor Kim Kyung-ho) is operating a ‘Visiting Village Tax Advisor’ service for residents who need tax consultation.

The Visiting Village Tax Advisor service is a program where tax advisors visit residents who find it difficult to visit professional institutions due to their daily work, providing free tax consultations directly.

The main consultation topics include ▲matters related to national and local taxes ▲methods to reduce inheritance and gift taxes ▲comprehensive income tax correction ▲support for local tax appeals, offering customized consultations tailored to various tax issues in daily life.

The first consultation this year was held on the 6th at Junggok Jeil Market. Choi Hyun-ui, a tax advisor active in Jayang 3 and 4-dong, provided consultations related to comprehensive income tax filing methods and comprehensive real estate tax reduction plans, receiving great responses from merchants.

A merchant at Junggok Traditional Market said, “It was difficult to leave the store, so even if I had questions, visiting the tax advisor’s office was challenging,” and added, “Thanks to the village tax advisor visiting the market directly for consultation, I was able to resolve my usual tax concerns.”

The district plans to provide free tax consultations sequentially at traditional markets, social welfare centers, and community service centers within the area until the end of the year.

Kim Kyung-ho, Mayor of Gwangjin-gu, said, “I hope many residents can resolve their complicated and difficult tax questions through the Visiting Village Tax Advisor service,” and added, “Gwangjin-gu will continue to provide various tax administrative services that can offer practical help to residents facing difficulties with tax issues.”
