Korea District Heating Corporation aims to enhance energy welfare for vulnerable facilities in Suwon City.
On the 12th, the District Heating Corporation signed an 'Energy Efficiency Plus Business Agreement' at Suwon City Hall together with Suwon City and the Korea Energy Foundation to improve energy welfare for social welfare facilities with poor energy usage environments.
The main contents of this agreement include implementing energy diagnosis consulting for social welfare facilities within Suwon City, which is a heat supply area of the District Heating Corporation; selecting 25 facilities urgently needing energy usage environment improvements; and supporting energy efficiency construction such as insulation and window work.
Kim Bu-heon, Vice President of the District Heating Corporation, said, "The Energy Efficiency Plus project is a representative social contribution project related to the national issue of 'improving energy efficiency in old buildings.' This project will help create 'Saebit Suwon,' the environmental capital."
