Yeongdeok County Family Center, From Customized Experiences to Certifications
The Yeongdeok-gun Family Center (Director: Lee Anguk) in North Gyeongsang Province conducted the "Child Growth Support Project," a program supporting career experience and certification acquisition for elementary, middle, and high school students, providing an opportunity to experience all the basic processes of baking and pastry making.
The "Child Growth Support Project" is part of an initiative to help youth prepare for their future, aiming to help young people in Yeongdeok-gun understand various career fields and discover their potential. The Yeongdeok-gun Family Center covered 70% of the education costs for lower-grade elementary students and 60% for middle and high school students.
In an interview with a participant, they shared, "I was glad to learn about baking in a more professional way," and "I was very happy to gain a new experience."
The Child Growth Support Program will continue to expand, providing more educational opportunities for all children in Yeongdeok-gun, helping students experience a sense of achievement through participation, completion certificates, and certification acquisition, and supporting them to confidently plan their career paths.
