Gyeonggi-do Icheon City announced on the 13th that it has established hydrogen charging stations at Deokpyeong Rest Area (Gangneung direction) on the Yeongdong Expressway and in the Daehung-ri area of Daewol-myeon, and began operation on the 12th.
The Deokpyeong Rest Area hydrogen charging station was built with a total investment of 3 billion KRW, including 1.25 billion KRW from Korea Expressway Corporation, 500 million KRW from Icheon City, and 1.25 billion KRW from the private sector. This site features a gaseous hydrogen charging station capable of supplying 40 kg of hydrogen per hour, enough to charge 8 passenger cars. Using the Icheon Lotte Premium Outlet Samgeori entrance road, vehicles can charge without entering the expressway.
