French Design Award Gold Winner Cleaning Robot
Optimized for the Korean Market
Robot specialist company Rhinos announced on the 13th that it will launch a cleaning robot that won the Gold Award at the French Design Awards (FDA) in the domestic market. The product introduced by Rhinos this time is a cleaning robot from China’s Yijiahe, optimized to meet the demands of the domestic market and released under the 'Wheely' brand.
The commercial cleaning robot Wheely’s main advantage is its award-winning design at the FDA. The FDA judging panel consists of world-renowned design experts and professors. Rhinos explained that winning an FDA award means the product’s design is outstanding enough to be recognized by global design masters.
Based on artificial intelligence (AI), it features a 'smart cleaning' function that autonomously selects the optimal tool. While existing products require manual replacement of cleaning tools, Wheely is equipped with built-in roller brushes and roller mops, and the AI selects the cleaning tool according to the floor material. The FDA judging committee stated, "As an intelligent AI robot cleaner, it independently recognizes vacuuming and mopping modules to clean floors most thoroughly," adding, "Through proprietary recognition technology, the robot identifies stains on the floor and adjusts the mopping force autonomously to clean contaminated stains. Additionally, combined with an all-in-one base station equipped with automatic water replacement, deep cleaning, and drying functions, it has elevated efficiency to a new level."
Care robot specialist company Rhinos optimized Wheely’s design and functions to meet the demands of the Korean market, where cleanliness and convenience are emphasized more than anywhere else in the world. They explained that the software was upgraded to suit the domestic environment and the product was configured to enable cleaning of even the finest details. It is also equipped with detachable clean water and wastewater tanks, and designed to allow wastewater to be drained through a drainage pipe like a washing machine, considering various user environments. Detailed information about the AI cleaning robot Wheely, which has officially started pre-orders, can be found on the website.
