The film 'Gyeongju Journey' has completed filming after three months, Lotte Entertainment, the distributor, announced on the 13th.
'Gyeongju Journey' depicts a special family trip of four mothers and daughters who set off to Gyeongju for revenge on the day the criminal who murdered the youngest daughter, Gyeongju, is released from prison. Actress Lee Jung-eun plays Ok-sil, the mother who has been waiting for revenge after losing her youngest daughter. Gong Hyo-jin portrays Jang-ju, the eldest daughter who takes care of the family devotedly, and Park So-dam plays Young-ju, the unemployed second daughter with a law degree. Lee Yeon joins as Dong-ju, the third daughter and former wrestling athlete.
The film is directed by Kim Mi-jo, who gained attention at the Jeonju International Film Festival and the Wildflower Film Awards with her debut work 'Seagull.' The movie is scheduled for release after post-production.
