Neuroscientist Dr. Jang Dong-seon: "How Are Humans Who Overcome Innate Limits Made?"

Guro-gu (Mayor Moon Heon-il) will hold a special lecture featuring a renowned expert in lifelong learning at the Guro Community Center auditorium at 2 PM on September 9.


This special lecture will be delivered by Dr. Jang Dong-seon, a neuroscientist and CEO of the Curious Brain Research Institute, under the theme "How Are Humans Made to Overcome Innate Limits?"


Dr. Jang Dong-seon has appeared on various TV programs such as "Alssulsinjap" and "Time That Changes the World," gaining attention as a neuroscientist who communicates complex scientific knowledge in an easy and entertaining way to the public.


His major publications include "How AI Changes the World" and "Happiness Is Inside the Brain."


Any Guro-gu residents and local workers interested can apply, and the lecture is free of charge.


The district will accept up to 300 participants on a first-come, first-served basis.


Residents wishing to attend can apply online through the Guro-gu Office website or by scanning the QR code on the poster, or they can apply by phone or in person at the Education Support Division of the district office.


A Guro-gu official said, "This special lecture was prepared to make the difficult field of neuroscience accessible and enjoyable," and added, "We hope many interested residents will participate."


Guro-gu organizes various lectures featuring renowned experts quarterly to enhance residents' voluntary participation in lifelong learning.
