At around 7:03 a.m. on the 12th, two commuter buses belonging to a shipbuilding company collided on a road near Ajudong, Geoje, South Gyeongsang Province.

According to the Geoje Police Station and the South Gyeongsang Fire Department, the two vehicles, carrying employees on their way to work, collided while traveling in the fourth lane of a four-lane one-way road.

A total of 88 people were injured in the accident, including two who suffered serious injuries such as broken necks and arms, and were transported to the hospital.

It was found that there were 33 employees on the bus in front and 56 employees on the bus following behind.

The police believe that the bus in front made a sudden stop to avoid a passenger car that abruptly cut in, causing the bus behind to crash into it. They are currently investigating the exact circumstances of the accident.
