IVE held their first world tour encore concert, 'SHOW WHAT I HAVE,' over two days on the 10th and 11th at the KSPO DOME (formerly Gymnastics Stadium) in Olympic Park, Songpa-gu, Seoul.
Starting in Seoul last October, IVE met global fans through their first world tour across 27 cities in 19 countries including Japan, Asia, the Americas, Europe, and South America. This concert, an encore performance just two years after their debut, expanded in scale from the Jamsil Indoor Gymnasium to the KSPO DOME, and they even conquered Tokyo Dome in Japan, proving their rapidly rising popularity.
IVE is the first 4th generation girl group to perform at the KSPO DOME. Following their role as the first act to embark on a world tour just two years after debut, they also earned the title of 'first' in this regard.
In this performance, IVE overwhelmed fans with remarkably improved live vocals, performance skills, and relaxed stage manners.
Compared to last year's Jamsil performance, the encore concert setlist saw some changes. IVE's hit songs such as "ELEVEN," "LOVE DIVE," "Kitsch," "After LIKE," and "I AM" were included. However, some title tracks like "BADDY" and "Either Way" were excluded from this concert. Instead, songs like "HAYA," "Ascendio," and "Blue Heart," which were released during the world tour, were newly added. Additionally, stages of fan favorites like "ROYAL," "HOLY MOLY," "SSEOMJJIT," and the fan song "SHINE WITH ME" were also featured.
What was especially impressive was IVE's growth compared to last year. The members performed all songs live, showcasing clear and powerful vocals even in high notes without wavering, earning applause. Their more relaxed stage manners also stood out. During the performance, Jang Wonyoung’s in-ear microphone slightly fell off, but she naturally handled the situation by holding the microphone and continuing to sing. IVE showed a mature side in many ways, announcing the birth of the 'hexagonal girl group.'
The agency Starship Entertainment revealed that IVE attracted a total of 16,500 attendees over the two days. This is about 5,500 more than the 11,000 who attended last year's indoor gymnasium concert. Moreover, the concert scale was impressively larger with a significantly expanded main stage and two protruding stages extending to the left and right, which was a highlight of this concert.
IVE is especially popular not only among people in their 20s and 30s but also among elementary school students. This concert proved that as many young fans were notably present. They arrived early holding their parents' hands, exchanged photocards, bought merchandise, and waited excitedly for the concert.
The 'Baby DIVE' fans were very active even inside the venue. They fully concentrated on the concert and thoroughly enjoyed the stage. When IVE members appeared, they cheered loudly, and when their favorite songs played, they followed the fan chants and sang along. During the 'dance time' held before the encore songs, the 'Baby DIVE' showed impressive dance moves, which member An Yujin admired. Other fans of different age groups watching this smiled, saying, "They are so cute."
During the concert, the members used lifts to get closer to the audience, making eye contact and sharing moments of connection and communication with fans. Leader An Yujin said, "Standing on the encore concert stage after a 10-month world tour, memories from my debut until now flashed by," adding, "Recently, a Starship audition video was released, and I saw myself singing with a very baby-like face and sparkling eyes. Back then, I couldn't have imagined filling this concert hall," tearing up.
Rei said, "At the start of the tour, I was anxious about whether we could perform worldwide for 10 months, but I can't believe we're now holding an encore concert," adding, "IVE will continue to grow as a group, so please love us forever."
Before the encore songs, when the camera focused on fans in the audience, an event where fans mimicked IVE’s choreography heated up the atmosphere even more. Lee Eunji from 'Ppyongppyong Earth Arcade' and Oh My Girl’s Mimi, who came to support An Yujin, also participated in the dance challenge, drawing cheers from fans. The concert was broadcast live through the global platform Beyond Live.
Since last October, starting in Seoul, IVE has met global fans through 37 performances in 27 cities across 19 countries in Asia, North America, Europe, and South America. IVE will hold encore concerts at Tokyo Dome in Japan on September 4th and 5th, marking a spectacular finale to their world tour. The agency reported that a total of 420,000 fans worldwide attended the performances during the world tour.
