Musinsa Led by Karina Launches Large-Scale 'Beauty Popup' in Seongsu-dong

Selected as the representative face of group aespa, 'Karina'
Beauty Festa to be held on the app for 3 weeks starting from the 19th
Offline popup event from the 6th to the 9th of next month

MUSINSA announced on the 12th that its beauty specialty store 'MUSINSA Beauty' has selected Karina of the group aespa as its ambassador and will open a beauty pop-up store in the Seongsu-dong area early next month.


MUSINSA chose Karina, a representative face of MUSINSA Beauty, as the ambassador. They judged that Karina's progressive and challenging beauty shown on stage would well represent the brand image that MUSINSA Beauty will present in the future.

Along with this, MUSINSA Beauty will hold the 'MUSINSA Beauty Festa,' where customers can check out popular brands and emerging beauty brands directly discovered by MUSINSA, on the MUSINSA app for three weeks starting from the 19th. Customers can meet not only the new brands debuting for the first time at MUSINSA Beauty but also various beauty brands with diverse tastes that have grown together with MUSINSA Beauty. A total of over 360 brands will participate, offering more than 10,000 products with abundant discount benefits.


From the 6th to the 9th of next month, the largest offline beauty pop-up store held in Seongsu, 'MUSINSA Beauty Festa IN Seongsu,' will take place. The main pop-up will be operated with 41 brands across three locations connecting Seongsu Station to Seoul Forest: ▲Total Zone (TOTAL ZONE, skincare, color cosmetics, fragrance) ▲Point Zone (POINT ZONE, color cosmetics, fragrance) ▲Men’s Zone (MEN’S ZONE, men’s beauty).


In particular, to provide a differentiated beauty festa experience that anyone visiting Seongsu-dong can enjoy, MUSINSA Beauty plans to collaborate with local shops in various fields such as beauty brands, F&B, hair and nail salons. Additionally, separate fragrance and beauty brand pop-up zones will be opened at Cafe Aznisom, Empty Seongsu, and TTRS.


Early bird tickets to participate in MUSINSA Beauty Festa IN Seongsu will be sold exclusively on the MUSINSA application (app) for three days starting on the 16th at a 30% discount from the regular price. General tickets will be sold from the 19th on the MUSINSA and 29CM apps.


A MUSINSA Beauty official stated, “As of the first half of this year, the number of MUSINSA Beauty customers has increased by 78% compared to last year, showing rapid growth,” and added, “We expect much interest and participation in the MUSINSA Beauty Festa, where customers can experience brands that MUSINSA has directly discovered and grown together with both online and offline.”
