Customized Food Delivery Service for Chronic Disease, Diabetes, and Cancer Patients

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) signed a business agreement with Cookplay Co., Ltd. as a provider of the ‘Care SOS Food Delivery Service’ at the Renaissance Hall of the district office on the 9th.

Considering that over 80% of Care SOS service users suffer from chronic diseases, the district selected Cookplay Co., Ltd., which can provide patient meals such as low-sodium and diabetic diets, as the food delivery service provider.

Through this agreement, the district plans to offer customized food delivery services for local residents with chronic diseases, diabetes, and cancer.

In particular, starting this year, a ‘health interview survey’ on the health information and lifestyle habits of care service recipients will be conducted. Linked with this agreement, it is expected to greatly help nutrition management and health promotion by providing optimized meals to users.

Moon Heon-il, Mayor of Guro-gu, stated, “We will build a more solid welfare safety net together with local care service providers,” and added, “We will continue to make various efforts to provide customized services that meet the diverse needs of our residents.”

With this agreement, the number of food delivery service providers has increased from two to three. The Care SOS service is being carried out with a total of 37 providers, including services such as temporary home care, temporary and accompaniment support, and residential convenience services.
