Starbucks is holding a half-price beverage event to celebrate surpassing 500 million cumulative orders through Siren Order.

On the 11th, Starbucks Korea announced that to commemorate the milestone of 500 million cumulative orders through its mobile ordering and payment service 'Siren Order,' it will hold the 'APP-Y MONDAY' event on the 12th, 19th, and 26th from 2 to 5 PM. Customers who order via Siren Order during these times will receive a 50% discount on made-to-order beverages.

Starbucks Korea explained that to allow as many customers as possible to participate in the event, a maximum of 6 items can be purchased per Siren Order transaction during the event hours, regardless of whether they are beverages or food.

Additionally, some beverages (such as Fizzio, Mango Banana Blended, Reserve, Teavana drinks, and certain store-specialized beverages) and delivery orders are excluded from the event.

Siren Order, first introduced by Starbucks in 2014, surpassed 100 million orders in September 2019 and exceeded 300 million orders in June 2022. This year, marking its 10th anniversary, it surpassed 500 million orders, receiving great love from many customers. The payment ratio via Siren Order also increased from 20% in 2019 to 35% currently.

The rapid achievement of 500 million cumulative orders was possible due to continuous service improvements based on customer usage patterns and convenience.

Starbucks introduced the 'Quick Order' service, which simplifies the ordering process so customers using the same menu and store can order quickly. It is also piloting the 'Now Brewing' service, which allows customers to quickly receive beverages with short preparation times during peak hours such as morning commute and lunch time.

Starbucks Korea stated, "Currently, more than half (54%) of Starbucks app users utilize Siren Order," and added, "We plan to add a feature that informs customers of the expected wait time when ordering via Siren Order and introduce an order cancellation function within this year."
