A total of 5 companies selected, prioritizing participants of the World Korean Business Conference... Up to 2 million KRW support per company, individual notification of selection results in September
Dobong-gu (Mayor Oh Eon-seok) has taken steps to help local small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) expand their market channels.
The district announced that it will support booth rental fees up to 2 million KRW per company when local SMEs participate in domestic and international exhibitions and fairs.
The support targets SMEs or small business owners with headquarters or factory locations in Dobong-gu as of the announcement date, August 7.
A total of five companies will be selected, with priority given to companies participating in the World Korean Business Convention and manufacturing companies. The selection results will be individually notified in September.
Companies wishing to receive booth rental fee support must submit an application form along with the required documents to the person in charge via email by the 27th of this month. The application form and other templates can be downloaded from the Dobong-gu website.
Oh Eon-seok, Mayor of Dobong-gu, said, “This booth rental fee support was initiated to assist local small business owners in participating in domestic and international exhibitions and fairs. We hope this support will provide opportunities for product promotion and new market development.” He added, “In particular, we hope companies participating in international exhibitions such as the World Korean Business Convention will establish global networks and lay the foundation for expanding into overseas markets.”
Meanwhile, the World Korean Business Convention, organized by the Ministry of Overseas Koreans and overseas Korean economic organizations, will be held for three days from October 22 to 24 at Jeonbuk National University in Jeonju City. Participating companies will have opportunities not only to expand overseas business and exports but also to build networks with Korean diaspora entrepreneurs.
