A heartwarming story has been shared about police officers rushing to help children on a broken-down bus in the middle of the Gyeongbu Expressway.

On the 8th, the official YouTube channel of 'Seoul Police' posted a video titled "Protecting the Little Ones on the Highway! Police Officers Preventing Secondary Accidents." According to the video, a bus stopped due to a breakdown on the Gyeongbu Expressway in Seoul last July. The area was a merging lane, raising concerns about potential secondary accidents.

Especially since the bus was carrying children returning from a cultural experience, the situation was even more precarious.

Upon hearing that 23 children and 6 accompanying teachers were stranded on the road, police officers immediately responded. First, they set up traffic cones around the lanes and deployed an auxiliary vehicle to ensure safety. Afterwards, the children and teachers boarded the auxiliary vehicle and were safely escorted home. The bus was reportedly repaired only after sunset.

After the news spread, netizens responded warmly with comments such as "Thanks to the police's swift response, the children were safe," "As a parent, I am truly grateful," "World-class Korean police," "The world is still a place worth living," and "Thank you for your hard work in the heat."
