Nonsan City in Chungnam Province announced on the 9th that it will hold a special sales event for excellent agricultural and specialty products under the joint agricultural brand "Yukgunbyeongjang" for two days from the 10th to the 11th in Yuseong-gu, Daejeon.
This event is designed to enhance the recognition of Nonsan City's high-quality agricultural and specialty products and promote consumption by building trust in their taste and quality through a promotional sales event where producers and consumers can meet directly.
It also aims to increase the income of local farmers who have suffered from heavy rain damage and to revitalize the local economy, which has been dampened by rising food prices following the heatwave after the rainy season.
During the event, all items produced by Nonsan's farms and companies, including peaches, grapes, grains, and oil sets, will be offered at a 30% discount.
The city will also hold purchase and SNS certification events, providing consumers with Yukgunbyeongjang shopping bags, tumbler sets, and strawberry bags to further promote the "Yukgunbyeongjang" brand to potential customers.
Mayor Baek Seonghyeon said, "It is important to continuously secure sales channels to ensure stable income for local farmers who are struggling due to heatwaves and heavy rain," and added, "We hope many people will take an interest in this opportunity to experience Nonsan City's joint agricultural brand 'Yukgunbyeongjang,' which boasts the best taste and quality."
