Ottogi added a modern touch to the logo design to make it more approachable for overseas consumers. The English name OTOKI was inserted into the logo for instant recognition of Ottogi, and the design was overall simplified by removing the line drawn along the character shape in the center of the symbol mark. The character, inspired by a smiling child, now features an even more emphasized winking bright expression, and the image of a child happily eating delicious food is expressed more concisely.

An Ottogi representative explained, "We are focusing on expanding our global market, including upgrading the Global Business Division to a headquarters last year," and added, "The renewal was pursued to improve confusion over the existing English pronunciation." They further stated, "We aim to make Ottogi's identity clearer to overseas consumers and approach them more familiarly with a modern symbol mark."
