BHI is the only domestic original technology company for HRSG (Heat Recovery Steam Generator). As a specialized power generation equipment company, it designs, manufactures, installs, and constructs power generation equipment necessary for power plant processes and steelmaking processes.

HRSG is a core facility of gas combined cycle power plants. It is an efficient and environmentally friendly power generation facility that recovers the heat generated during gas turbine operation at LNG (liquefied natural gas)-fueled gas power plants, converts it into steam, and secondarily operates a steam turbine to produce additional electricity.

Youngdae Jeon, a researcher at Stunning Value Research, said, "BHI has achieved a new cumulative order amount of 394 billion KRW for Japan this year alone, and globally, it has secured about 800 billion KRW in new orders this year. The cumulative orders have reached 1.2 trillion KRW."

Stunning Value Research analyzed that BHI is targeting the nuclear power plant market centered on 'Team Korea,' led by KHNP, and its global partner, the US company Westinghouse. He explained, "Overseas, they aim to export 10 global nuclear power plants by the third quarter, including KHNP's 24 trillion KRW order for the Czech nuclear power plant last month. The Polish government has approved the preliminary permit for Westinghouse's Lubiat?w-Kopalino nuclear power plant, officially advancing the nuclear power project."

He added, "Westinghouse has initially confirmed the project for three nuclear power plants. The first unit is planned to begin construction in 2026, so BHI will continue to collaborate with its global partner Westinghouse." He further stated, "Accordingly, BHI's sales and operating profit are expected to grow at a compound annual growth rate (CAGR) of 12.1% and 29.5%, respectively, over the next three years starting this year."
