According to the police on the 8th, Mr. A was found dead around 9:50 a.m. at an apartment in Jongchon-dong, Sejong City. It is reported that Mr. A left a note in the form of a memo.


Mr. A was the operations manager of the department responsible for the Improper Solicitation and Graft Act. He led investigations into cases such as the luxury handbag bribery allegations involving Kim Keon-hee, wife of President Yoon Suk-yeol, and the emergency helicopter usage incident involving Lee Jae-myung, former leader of the Democratic Party of Korea.


The police are investigating the exact circumstances of the incident.
