Law School Admission Information and Personalized Counseling... Joint Briefing Session for 25 Law Schools

An information session where prospective students can check and consult on admission information for law schools nationwide will be held.

The Association of Law Schools (Chairman Lee Sang-kyung) announced on the 8th that it will hold the "2025 Academic Year Joint Law School Admission Information Session" on the 22nd and 23rd at the 3rd floor, Exhibition Hall 2 of the aT Center in Yangjae-dong, Seocho-gu, Seoul.

Anyone interested in taking the Law School Admission Test or pursuing admission to law schools can participate free of charge without separate registration.

At the exhibition hall where the information session is held, consultation booths for 25 law schools nationwide will be set up. Examinees can listen to detailed explanations about the 2025 admission process and receive customized one-on-one admission counseling from each school's admission officers.

A booth for the "Korean Legal Professionals Association," composed of lawyers who graduated from law schools, will also be available. Examinees can consult with practicing lawyers and receive advice not only on law school admissions but also on legal career paths.

This year, 19,400 applicants registered for the Law School Admission Test, an increase of 11.75% (2,040 people) from last year, marking the highest number ever.

Lee Sang-kyung, Chairman of the Association of Law Schools, said, "Since the opening of law schools in 2009, the number of legal professionals produced has exceeded 19,000, accounting for more than half of all lawyers, and they have contributed to the realization of the rule of law in the Republic of Korea and the improvement of legal services."

He added, "We will further expand the solid scholarship system that helps talented individuals achieve their dreams of becoming legal professionals without economic burden. I hope that students wishing to enter law schools will gain useful information and practical support for their admission preparation through consultations with professors and staff at the joint admission information session."

The Association of Law Schools plans to provide all participants with admission guidebooks, eco bags, pens, and other small souvenirs at the information desk at the entrance of the venue.
