Promoting the Value of Suncheon Bay Tidal Flats, a World Natural Heritage Site
Suncheon City (Mayor Noh Gwan-gyu) announced that the "Suncheonman Mudflat Concert (Suncheonman is Alive)," a celebration of string instruments offering a sweet summer night, will be held at Suncheon Waon Port at 7:30 PM on the 9th and 10th.
This event was planned with the support of the National Heritage Agency to widely promote the value of the Suncheon mudflats, a UNESCO World Natural Heritage site.
On the 9th (Friday), a bubble artist will decorate the stage with a sparkling bubble show, and on the 10th (Saturday), the harmonious melodies of the daegeum and haegeum will color the summer night. Additionally, on both days, attendees can feel the warm emotions conveyed by the acoustic guitar's tunes.
The Suncheonman Mudflat Concert offers not only performances but also valuable information about the mudflats, a World Natural Heritage site, and various experiential opportunities, providing a special experience where nature and music blend together.
For the first 100 pre-registrants, a participation fee of 5,000 KRW grants comfortable and emotionally fulfilling camping seats along with souvenirs and snacks.
Also, the dress code for this Waon Port performance is free, encouraging families, friends, and couples to dress uniquely together. The best dresser will be selected through a contest corner.
