Yangsan City, Gyeongnam, will publicly recruit 30 members for the 6th Citizen Participation Group for the Women-Friendly City from the 13th to the 30th, as the term of the 5th group is coming to an end.
The existing 5th Citizen Participation Group has played various roles over the past two years to create a women-friendly city, including operating stroller rental stations at various festival venues, promoting the women-friendly city initiative, conducting night-time monitoring of women’s safety zones, monitoring and discovering policies related to the creation of Hwangsan Park Local Garden, participating in benchmarking visits, and presenting at the Women-Friendly City Council performance report meeting.
The 6th Citizen Participation Group is open to any Yangsan resident with a spirit of volunteerism who is willing to actively participate in the women-friendly city initiative.
To apply, applicants can fill out the application form posted in the notices section of the Yangsan City website and submit it via email to the person in charge, or visit the Yangsan City Hall (Department of Women and Youth) to submit it in person. The results will be individually notified to the selected applicants in September.
