Policies Related to Rights and Duties, and Welfare Promotion Policies Over 100 Million KRW
Nonsan City in Chungnam Province announced on the 8th that it will implement the Policy Real-Name System for key management projects to enhance administrative transparency and accountability.
The key management projects include: △ policies related to the rights and obligations of a large number of residents, △ policies to promote the welfare of many citizens with a budget of 100 million KRW or more, △ construction projects with a budget of 500 million KRW or more, and △ enactment or revision of autonomous regulations (ordinances and rules) affecting many citizens.
The city operates the Public Application Real-Name System to directly reflect public demand in the selection of key management projects.
To apply for the Public Application Real-Name System, citizens can download the application form from the Nonsan City Hall website, fill in the project name and reason for application, and submit it via email or mail.
Mayor Baek Seonghyeon stated, "The Policy Real-Name System is the first step to enhance transparency and accountability in administration, increasing citizens' trust and delivering impressive governance. We will create a new Nonsan and a happier Nonsan for citizens by moving beyond showmanship to responsible and proactive administration that brings about changes citizens can truly feel."
Meanwhile, the city has previously selected 21 projects in 2020, 24 in 2021, 34 in 2022, and 31 in 2023 as key management projects under the Policy Real-Name System.
This year, the city plans to actively identify major initiatives of the 8th popularly elected administration and new government policy tasks, striving to fulfill citizens' right to know, communicate with the public, and build a more trustworthy administration.
