Literature Day Guro-gu Mayor Conducts On-site Safety Patrol for Heatwave Response

Guro-gu (District Mayor Moon Heon-il) conducted an on-site safety patrol on the 7th of this month to respond to the heatwave.

On this day, Mayor Moon Heon-il of Guro-gu visited construction sites and senior centers vulnerable to the ongoing record-breaking heatwave.

First, he visited the construction sites of Daeryung Post Tower 9th Phase and Saenggak Gongjang Guro, where work was in full swing under the heat, inspecting safety and rest facilities at the sites, and urged site personnel to strictly adhere to working hours and safety management to prevent heat-related illnesses.

Afterwards, he visited Gaebong 2-dong Senior Center and Happy Housing Senior Center to check on the health of the elderly during the summer and inspect the senior center facilities.

During today's patrol, Mayor Moon Heon-il listened to the difficulties of on-site workers and the elderly, stating, "We will actively respond to ensure that residents and workers in the district do not suffer from heat-related illnesses or other damages due to the heatwave."
