The Korea Exchange announced on the 7th that it held an opening ceremony for the 'KRX Local Children's Center' to commemorate the completion of the remodeling construction of the Banyeo Eokkaedongmu Local Children's Center in Busan Metropolitan City.
The Exchange completed interior improvement work so that children in the local community who need care can use the local children's center in a safe and comfortable environment after school.
Since 2014, the Korea Exchange has renovated a total of 47 local children's centers nationwide. With this construction, the Banyeo Eokkaedongmu Local Children's Center has been remodeled into a wider and more comfortable environment, including a music instrument dance room and reading space, which are most needed by the center's children.
Jung Eun-bo, Chairman of the Korea Exchange, said, "Local children's centers are precious spaces where our children can grow up safely and nurture their dreams through various experiences and learning," adding, "The Exchange will continue to make various efforts for welfare projects for children in the Busan area."
