MZ Solution to Launch New AI Firefighting Product Dedicated to Lithium Batteries This Month

MGN Solution announced on the 7th that it plans to launch a new firefighting system product this month that can prevent lithium battery fires and extinguish them immediately.

The newly developed standalone "Alpha Shot System," co-developed with its subsidiary Hyundai Infracore, is a cutting-edge AI (artificial intelligence) firefighting product that integrates infrared detection, control algorithms, and data transmission technology. This product enables initial response within 30 seconds of fire occurrence through 24/7 detection, control, and recording.

Previously, MGN Solution introduced Alpha Shot, a product that adds the function of spraying water and extinguishing agents to the world's first Internet of Things fire prediction computer, "Alpha View." The new product allows easy installation and features an LCD touchscreen for user convenience.

A company representative explained, "Alpha Shot detects smoke or flames 99% immediately after a fire breaks out and sprays extinguishing agents," adding, "At the same time, it automatically reports to the fire station and sounds an alarm, minimizing human and property damage."

They continued, "Recently, as large-scale damage related to lithium battery fires has been highlighted from apartment parking lots to waste centers, calls for institutional improvements have grown," and added, "Our company has already been recognized for its technology by supplying to resource circulation centers and large warehouse electric vehicle charging facilities through national projects."

According to the company, lithium battery fires cannot be extinguished with powder extinguishers due to thermal runaway phenomena. Especially in enclosed underground parking lots and warehouses, smoke ventilation is poor and fire truck access is limited, making it difficult to approach the ignition point. Accordingly, MGN Solution's unmanned automated fire suppression system is expected to attract more attention.

The new product will be unveiled for the first time at the 17th Waste and Resource Circulation Industry Exhibition held at KINTEX in Ilsan from the 28th to the 30th of this month.
