CJ CheilJedang is introducing three types of soup rice products called 'Bumeokbap' that allow for a convenient meal. 'Bumeokbap' is an abbreviation of 'rice you can eat immediately by just pouring water,' highlighting the product’s feature of being ready in 4 minutes with only hot water. The new products come in three varieties: seaweed soup rice, jjambbong rice, and beef bone soup rice. They can be prepared without a microwave, making them suitable for outdoor activities like camping, and each contains less than 200 kcal. The main ingredient is 'hot air dried rice,' which is cooked rice dried with hot air and can be quickly restored to rice by applying heat and water. The seaweed soup rice offers a mild flavor with a savory sesame oil aroma, the beef bone soup rice features a rich beef bone broth taste with added green onions, and the jjambbong rice contains spicy and refreshing jjambbong soup with vegetables such as wood ear mushrooms and green onions.

Ottogi is launching the 'Big Cup Noodle Mala Soup,' which has an increased weight compared to the existing 'Cup Noodle Mala Soup.' The cup noodle mala soup, released in October last year, was the first low-calorie container cup noodle product to feature mala soup flavor. The new product weighs 1.6 times more than the previous small cup and contains 245 kcal, allowing consumers to enjoy mala soup in a light yet filling way. It is made with mung bean and potato starch noodles, just like the original small cup, and features a Korean-style mala soup flavor based on a rich beef bone broth combined with mala, peanut, and sesame sauces. It delivers a mild spiciness equivalent to the popular mala soup restaurants’ level 1.5, making it enjoyable for a wide range of tastes. Notably, the amount of dried tofu skin pieces, first introduced in the cup noodle mala soup, has been doubled compared to the small cup. Additionally, for the first time in the cup noodle category, microwave-safe materials have been applied to make it more convenient for consumers to enjoy recipes such as steamed eggs after eating.

O’Sulloc launches 'Original Kombucha' with oak aging

O’Sulloc is releasing ‘Original Kombucha,’ which offers a rich kombu flavor through oak aging. O’Sulloc Original Kombucha is characterized by its rich fruity fermented aroma created through natural fermentation and aging without additives. It also adds a subtle oak scent and deep body. The product features an optimal balance of sweetness and acidity, allowing consumers to enjoy the fermented aroma and carbonation. O’Sulloc applies 'O’Sulloc SCOBY,' a probiotic derived from Jeju green tea, to all products in its kombucha line and produces the fermented liquid by blending tea leaves and yeast. The new Original Kombucha contains a fermented liquid with optimal acidity that has been aged in oak barrels to deliver a deep flavor.

APR Mediheal Cube unveils collaboration edition with NINIZ character 'Jordi'

APR’s beauty brand Mediheal Cube has launched two summer skincare editions in collaboration with Kakao’s popular character NINIZ Jordi. The collaboration products are the Zero Line’s 'Zero Pore Pad' and 'Zero Blackhead Mud Pack.' The two Zero Line products specialize in pore and sebum care and are described as having a refreshing finish, making them ideal for use in hot and humid summer weather. The main product packaging of both items features images of Jordi using the Zero Line products. The complimentary ‘Jordi Face Pore Pad’ also has Jordi’s face drawn on the pad surface, and the pore brush provided with the mud pack includes design elements reminiscent of Jordi. Additionally, a portable skin pad case featuring the Jordi character is given as a gift to customers who purchase both collaboration products.
