Hyundai Motor Group Wins Record Number of Awards at Newsweek Auto Awards

Hyundai Motor Group set a record for the most awards ever at the Auto Awards hosted by the American news weekly Newsweek.

On the 7th, Hyundai Motor Group announced that it won a total of 17 awards at the 2024 Newsweek Auto Awards, including 6 for Hyundai, 8 for Kia, and 3 for Genesis. This is an increase of 6 awards from last year's 11, marking the highest number of awards in history.

Founded in 1933, Newsweek is a leading American news weekly. It is distributed not only in the United States but worldwide, exerting significant influence on consumers. Newsweek reorganized its award categories from being vehicle-centered to 13 categories based on psychometric criteria such as consumer purchasing behavior and lifestyle starting this year.

Newsweek evaluated all vehicles sold in the U.S. market this year and awarded "Best Vehicle" and "Top Pick" in each category.
