Gyeonggi Province is conducting an advanced investment attraction course for executives of social economy organizations.
The Gyeonggi Social Economy Center announced on the 7th that it has opened the 'Advanced Investment Attraction Preparation Course' and is recruiting 50 participants on a first-come, first-served basis until the 30th.
This training program is designed in collaboration with impact investors and covers the entire investment process, including ▲reviewing corporate promotion materials (IR) ▲importance of corporate finance ▲fundraising strategies. Impact investment refers to investments that consider solving social issues alongside generating financial returns.
The training is completely free and will be held over two days each in the southern and northern regions of Gyeonggi Province.
Yoo Hoon, Director of the Gyeonggi Social Economy Center, stated, "We hope this training course will serve as a stepping stone for social economy organizations to understand impact investment and successfully attract actual investments."
The Gyeonggi Social Economy Center is continuously conducting education and enterprise discovery to foster the impact investment ecosystem within the province by forming the Gyeonggi Impact Fund with 45 billion KRW by July 2024 to support the growth of social economy organizations.
