Home Gardening Education for Residents of Apartments with Over 100 Households, Registration Opens from the 12th
Gijang-gun (Governor Jeong Jongbok) will begin recruiting apartment complexes to participate in the 'On-site Air-Purifying Plant Practical Education' program starting from the 12th.
This program is a mobile horticultural education initiative targeting residents of apartment complexes with over 100 households in the region.
A total of 25 apartment complexes will be selected, and the program will run from September 2 to October 24, four times a week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday), to support residents who have difficulties managing indoor plants.
Apartment complexes wishing to participate can apply through their village chief starting from the 12th, and further details are available on the Agricultural Technology Center website.
Additionally, residents who are unable to attend the program can receive plant care consulting through the 'Companion Plant Clinic Service' offered by the county's Agricultural Technology Center.
An official from the Gijang-gun Agricultural Technology Center stated, "We expect this program to help residents easily manage their companion plants, contributing to their emotional well-being and vitality in daily life," and added, "We also hope the spread of companion plant culture will further revitalize the local floriculture industry."
The county's Agricultural Technology Center provides education through the Companion Plant Clinic Service on topics such as ▲methods to improve indoor environments using plants ▲plant care tips ▲how to repot plants ▲how to use effective microorganisms (EM), and more.
