This service was established to help citizens visit memorial facilities more easily and obtain related information.

The app includes detailed descriptions, photos, and location information for each memorial facility, enabling users to easily understand the historical significance and importance of these sites, as well as greatly assisting in planning visits.

The memorial facilities available on the app include the Gwangju Baekbeom Memorial Hall and Obang Choi Heung-jong Memorial Hall, as well as the Seodaemun Prison History Hall in Seoul, the Independence Hall of Korea in Chungnam, the UN Peace Memorial Hall in Busan, the Jeju Anti-Japanese Memorial Hall, and a total of 99 museums nationwide.

A representative from the Gwangju Regional Office of Veterans Affairs stated, “The Memorial Facilities Museum Guide app service focuses on creating an environment where people can easily visit and pay tribute at memorial facilities,” adding, “We will continue to provide various services so that citizens can feel more familiar with memorial facilities and reflect on the meaning of veterans affairs.”
