A post advising against marriage between a man from a poor family and a woman from a wealthy family has become a hot topic among netizens.

Recently, an online community featured a post by Mr. A, who observed the married life of his older brother, raised in a poor family, and his new sister-in-law, raised in a wealthy household. The author stated that economic differences caused many problems from the early stages of the marriage. Even during the formal meeting between families, differences were evident in the cars each side owned.

Mr. A felt that the family’s sense of inferiority grew after the marriage, and he witnessed this being expressed through complaints about the new sister-in-law and the in-laws, leading him to believe that birds of a feather flock together.

Many netizens expressed sympathy with the author. They left comments such as, "If the economic gap is too large, it ultimately leads to disaster," "Differences in family background from childhood can never be overcome," and "I'm in a similar situation with my older brother, and it's really bitter."

On the other hand, there were also many criticisms directed at the author. Opinions poured in like, "It's not about economic power but about feelings of inferiority," "If self-esteem were high, it wouldn't be like that," "Men and women are the same," "Even marriages between rich men and poor women end in disaster," and "Didn't they marry for money?"
