Shilla University (President Heo Namsik)'s Department of Air Traffic Management and Department of Aviation Logistics participated in the '1st Aviation Culture Content Contest' and won bronze awards in two categories.
Last June, the National Aviation Museum held the '1st Aviation Culture Content Contest' to encourage public interest in aviation culture and promote the spread of related content.
The contest consisted of two categories: the 'Story Video (1 to 2 minutes 30 seconds)' category, which introduced aviation culture using key exhibits presented by the National Aviation Museum, and the 'Content Proposal' category, which aimed to discover ideas to vitalize the museum's exhibitions, education, and experiential programs in the form of a poster. Students Shin Jaeseung, Ahn Euntae, and Son Jegyo from the Department of Air Traffic Management, and Jang Chohee from the Department of Aviation Logistics at Shilla University participated in the contest.
Shin Jaeseung from the Department of Air Traffic Management and Jang Chohee from the Department of Aviation Logistics submitted 'The Time, Space, and Story of Aircraft,' focusing on the T-6 Geongukgi, which was purchased in 1949 with donations from people from all walks of life, and the F-51 Mustang fighter, which played a significant role in the Korean War, highlighting the sacrifices and efforts of earlier generations of aviation professionals.
Ahn Euntae and Son Jegyo from the Department of Air Traffic Management were recognized for their creativity in the 'Content Proposal' category with a poster about 'Providing In-Flight Meal Service Experiences of Airlines' for visitors to the National Aviation Museum.
Shin Jaeseung and Ahn Euntae, who attended the award ceremony, said, "Although we wanted to win first place, we feel a bit disappointed to have placed third, but we are happy that our department won two bronze awards in a national contest. We will pay more attention to the overall field of air traffic and strive for even better results in the next contest."
